Team Barrie: Guatemala City Oct ‘22
We Are Returning to Guatemala City!
After two years of cancelled mission trips, Team Broken Earth Barrie are finally able to travel again to help the people of Guatemala. A group of 26 volunteer health care professionals from the Barrie, Ontario area will be conducting a one-week mission to Guatemala City, from October 1-8, 2022. We have teamed up with our Guatemalan partners, “Partner for Surgery” to provide essential surgical care to rural Guatemalans.
This will be the second mission to Guatemala for Team Barrie. In May 2019, we conducted almost 70 surgeries in one week. This Fall, we will be bringing three surgical teams to perform essential surgeries in the specialties of Gynecology, Orthopedics, and General Surgery.
Our second mission has been long delayed and we are eager to return to doing what we do best and providing life-changing surgical care to many Guatemalans.
