Team NL, Team Calgary, & Team Manitoba – Guatemala Nov’ 2025
Volunteers Across Canada Are Bringing Care to Guatemala
Three teams of compassionate volunteers, representing Newfoundland, Calgary, and Manitoba, will be travelling to Antigua, Guatemala to provide a broad scope of critical care. From November 14 – 22, these health care professionals will use their collective skills, formative experiences, and shared determination to provide medical treatment to Guatemalans who would otherwise go without.
Team NL volunteers will spend the week focusing on general surgeries, plastic surgeries, urology, gynecology and women’s health. And for the first time, Team NL will be bringing transformative dental procedures to Guatemala too! We’re very excited to see the positive impact their work will have.
During this important mission, our Calgary team will be performing orthopedic surgeries, general surgeries, and plastic surgeries. Working together, this important work will drastically improve the lives and futures of countless individuals, families, and communities!
Our Manitoba team may be small, but they are mighty! This team will direct their energy towards reconstructive plastic surgeries – specifically, cleft lips and palates – helping vulnerable children live more comfortably, with the freedom to speak, eat, and smile like they have never experienced before.
