Team Brantford – Duquesa, Dominican Republic, Jan ‘27

This January, our Team Brantford volunteers will embark on their very first mission to the Dominican Republic!

In partnership with Community Empowerment and RUSH University, our team will provide essential primary care to families living near the Duquesa landfill — one of the largest in the world. This community is home to many Haitian migrants, and families who face incredibly challenging living conditions with limited access to healthcare.

Throughout the week, our team will work directly with residents to deliver medical support and hope to a community that has long been overlooked. Our mission is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves access to quality healthcare — no matter where they live.
