Team Ottawa - Dominican Republic, Nov '26

Team Ottawa will return to the Dominican Republic from November 20-30, 2026, for a week of orthopaedic surgeries at Taiwan Hospital in Azua. This mission will provide life-changing surgical care to in-need Dominican residents and Haitian refugees.

Our dedicated team of medical professionals will perform a wide range of procedures, including acute fracture repairs, reconstruction of untreated fractures and post-traumatic complications, surgical management of orthopaedic infections, selected elective procedures (such as carpal tunnel and rotator cuff surgeries), and biopsies of masses or tumours when indicated.
