Team Vancouver - Antigua, Guatemala, Nov '26

Team Vancouver will soon be embarking on our largest surgical mission to date. From November 22-27, 2026, our team, along with Partner for Surgery, will return to Guatemala for its second mission of 2026, marking our seventh surgical mission in the country.
Earlier this year a small group of volunteers visited rural communities in Guatemala to help identify and triage patients who were in need of surgical care. A team of 50 volunteers will now build on that work through the provision of surgical care. In Antigua, we will operate six operating rooms for the first time, allowing us to expand the range of procedures offered. Two ORs will be dedicated to general surgery, one to urology, one to gynaecology, and two to orthopaedics, including upper-extremity procedures and total knee replacements.
We are excited to return to Guatemala and continue working alongside our local partners to provide essential surgical care to those who need it most.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
